Dark ruby hue with purplish tints. Intense nose. In its early youth, the nose is fresh with red fruit, camphor and violet aromas. After two years of ageing, black fruit dominates the first nose, which then goes on to develop black pepper, roasted and smoky notes and liquorice aromas. When young, the wine is fresh with a nice structure and hints of redcurrants and raspberries. With age, the palate becomes rounder and fatter with a long finish.
