Other vintages
The nose is fragrant and reminiscent of bramble and forest floor, sour cherries, finished with slight oriental spices. On the palate, the wine is considerably powerful, but mellowed by a broad softness; flavours suggestive of ripe red berries, sweet cherries with a fleshy lingering finish.
It's a fantastic choice to accompany full-flavoured dishes, such as meat based soups or aged or semi- aged cheeses.
